Blinds & Chips

Blind structure will be the same as a $2500 World Series of Poker event.  5000 chips will be the starting stack for regular games. Rounds will be 20 minutes each with a break after every 3 rounds. FYI,  at the WSOP  the rounds are 1 hour each, 2 hours for the Main Event. We don’t have the luxury of playing a 30-60 hour long game though, the intent is to run a quick and fair home game every other week of approximately 4 hours long

Printable Poker Blinds

You will earn 1 point for playing plus earn additional points based on your finish.  The first player out gets one point, each player afterwards earns one additional point based on their finish.  One additional reward point will be earned for making the final table (defined as actually playing a hand once we have consolidated down to one table of action whether it be down to 10, 9 or 8 players).  Still additional bonus points will be earned by each casher, with the lowest casher getting one point, and each subsequent higher finisher getting an extra point.  Any extra chips earned are designed to be an incentive to play more regularly and also to reward those who play regularly since they are the ones contributing the most towards the prize fund.  To further encourage players to participate regularly, points turn into extra chips at the table for the Championship Tournaments.  The more times you play and the better you do translates into extra chips when it counts!   For the year end championship game, each point you have earned will be worth 5 extra chips, rounded up to the next 25 chip level.  As always, one “wild card” participant will be allowed into the Championship Tournament.  This will be the player that hasn’t won an event with the most points earned provided he has more points than at least one of the participants.
